A Letter From the Owner
My Name is Jason Beaucage, and I am the owner of MI Dsigns Inc. Over the past 10 years I have worked in the sign industry for several organizations including a national franchise and have come to realize that “Customer Service” is dead in America.
During the years I worked for my current competitors, I have seen first-hand how customers are treated within this industry. I have had the opportunity to work with many small and large businesses across the Mid-Atlantic region that have been frustrated by this industry due to lack of communication, response, and quality. In fact, many of my current clients are with me because I simply had the courtesy to return their phone calls or emails promptly, and to answer their questions and fulfill their orders in a timely manner.
Over the many years in working for other companies, my clients would always ask me when I was “going to go into business for myself”. My response was always, “when I can get enough money to make it happen”. After 10 long years of patience, planning and persistence I have finally accomplished my dream: To own and operate a FULL SERVICE graphic design and sign company focused on fulfilling all of my clients marketing needs and desires.
One thing about the sign industry is, each company seems to have a “niche” in the market place, but never seems to offer a COMPLETE SOLUTION.
Most of the national sign franchises are merely “cut vinyl shops” or “printing shops” who over charge because of their name. Try asking them to service an electrical or neon sign and you will get turned down or told to go somewhere else for your needs. If they do offer electrical signs, they are outsourced and installed by other companies.
On the other hand, if you go to most of the privately owned companies, who get into the actual fabrication of electrical signs and monument signs, you will find that they lack the design skills to really give you “the look” you desire. These shops, 95% of the time, won’t offer services like Graphic Design, Photo Restoration, business cards, T-Shirts or other items similar because “they don’t pay well” according to the owners or managers.
This situation makes it extremely frustrating for small business owners and larger corporations to have to deal with several different companies to accomplish similar tasks. MI Dsigns, was created with these common concerns in mind. We proudly can handle all of your dsign and marketing needs!
